Why choose wallpapers with a non-woven backing and vinyl surface?

  • Wallpapers that can handle it all. The strong non-woven backing ensures easy hanging and removal, while the vinyl surface adds outstanding resistance to scratches and moisture. A great choice for hallways, kitchens or living rooms where walls really take a beating. Big bonus? Easy care – just wipe with a damp cloth. Step-by-step instructions are available in our wallpapering guide.
  • Tip before wallpapering: Walls must be smooth, dry and clean. Fill any cracks, apply primer, keep the temperature around 20 °C, avoid ventilation for at least 48 hours and always check the batch number (Batch No.).
  • VAN GOGH MUSEUM - we delved deeper into the oeuvre of this remarkable painter. It was quite a challenge, since his enormous legacy provides an almost inexhaustible source of inspiration. Ultimately we selected paintings that clearly illustrate Van Gogh’s love of Japanese art. Van Gogh himself said that this art made him happier and more content and changed his perspective on the world. The key works we have selected include Flowering Plum Orchard (after Hiroshige), Sprig of Flowering Almond in a Glass and Vase with Chinese Asters and Gladioli. These colourful pieces, packed with wonderful details and painted with great passion, form the basis of the collection. And it’s a collection that we are very proud to present.

  • Non-woven wallpapers are characterized by good breathability, mechanical resistance and the ability to cover fine cracks. Wall thicknesses equal to or less than 0.8% is suitable for non woven wall coverings. When pasting vlies wallpapers, the adhesive is applied directly to the underlying wall to which the individual stripes of the wallpaper are applied. For pasting, use a non woven wallpaper adhesive for vlies wallpapers, which can be found in our adhesive range. Removing vlies wallpapers is easy and could be done in a dry condition of the wallpaper.

  • It is advisable to use a primer to each wall before wallpapering. The primer unifies underlayments absorption and increases adhesion of subsequent layers.
