- Tip before wallpapering: Walls must be smooth, dry and clean. Fill any cracks, apply primer, keep the temperature around 20 °C, avoid ventilation for at least 48 hours and always check the batch number (Batch No.).
The Dutch wallpaper manufacturer BN Wallcovering, as an official partner of the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, is proud to present its third wallpaper collection inspired by the work of this famous painter.
BN worked closely with the Van Gogh Museum to select various works that became the inspiration for the new wallpaper collection. The designers carefully studied his works and tried to use expressive brush strokes, visionary colors and modeled textures.
Since Van Gogh liked to paint trees in bloom and floral patterns, these motifs are also used on wallpapers. Wallpaper with twigs and flowers is inspired by the image of a small peach bush in bloom or almond blossoms.
The catalog is complemented by wallpaper with a circle in which is placed a bouquet of flowers that were used in the paintings of the master Van Gogh. Wallpapers with characteristic brush strokes and diverse flowers on color contrasting backgrounds bring painting into your homes.
Why choose non-woven wallpapers with a vinyl surface?
The non-woven backing of the wallpaper is made of ecological material - pulp. Their big advantage is easy installation, when you only paint the wall with glue and attach the wallpaper to the wall. The wallpaper has a vinyl layer on the top, which ensures its high resistance and washability. The wallpapers we offer do not contain phthalates or any other harmful substances and can be used in all rooms.
And what not to forget before wallpapering?
The primer of the wall is very important, which ensures that the adhesive will perform its function properly and the wallpaper will stick well on the wall. During the wallpapering itself, it is necessary to maintain a constant temperature of around 20 °C and above all not to ventilate for at least another 48 hours, even if it seems to you that the room is damp. The glue simply needs its time to slowly dry completely.
